'Introducing AIMS: Built for the Way JROTC Units Actually Work'

AIMS is a new platform designed from the ground up for JROTC uniform inventory, equipment tracking, and cadet inspections. Here's why we built it.

Spreadsheets weren't built for this

Every JROTC program we've talked to runs on some combination of spreadsheets, paper sign-out sheets, and institutional memory. It works — until someone PCSs, a laptop dies, or a cadet disputes what they were issued three semesters ago.

AIMS exists because uniform and equipment accountability shouldn't depend on one person's filing system.

What AIMS does

At its core, AIMS is an inventory and inspection management system built specifically for JROTC. That means it understands the things your unit actually deals with:

  • Uniform items with sizes, conditions, and serial numbers
  • Equipment like drill rifles, flags, and PT gear
  • Assignments tied to individual cadets with full history
  • Inspections with per-item scoring and historical trends
  • Role-based access so cadets, student leaders, and instructors each see what they need

It's not a general-purpose inventory tool we bolted JROTC language onto. The data model, the workflows, and the permissions system were all designed around how units operate.

Why now

We've spent the last several months building AIMS in close collaboration with active JROTC instructors. The beta is focused on getting the core workflows right before adding complexity.

If your unit is still running on spreadsheets and you want to try something purpose-built, we'd love to have you in the beta.
